Economical Tool for The LAN Installer and Repair Technician
The TVR10/100/1000 Ethernet Tester consists of a "Main unit" and a "Remote Probe." The Main unit handles most tests, including identifying the LAN device type (hub/switch or PC), determining LAN speed and duplex (10, 100, 1000 MB/s, half or full duplex), and checking for the presence of PoE (Power over Ethernet) without needing the Remote Probe. The Remote Probe enhances functionality by allowing cable location tracing (using audible tones from the Main Unit) and testing cable wiring (by decoding and displaying wiring information from the Main Unit).
