Keysight N6705C DC Power Analyzer Mainframe
Ideal for R&D testing and design validation, the Keysight N6705C DC Power Analyzer Mainframe is a modular, 600 W, four-slot DC power test system that combines power sourcing, measurement, waveform generation, data logging, and oscilloscope capabilities in a single instrument. Designed for engineers and validation teams, the N6705C supports more than 30 interchangeable DC power modules, allowing users to configure a customized solution for battery testing, power consumption analysis, component validation, and automated test applications. With fully isolated module slots, high-accuracy voltage and current measurements, and an intuitive integrated interface, the Keysight N6705C improves test efficiency while delivering precise and reliable DC power analysis.

- Eliminates multiple instruments. Combine 1 to 4 DC Power Supplies, DMM, Oscilloscope, Arb waveform generator, and Datalogger into 1 integrated instrument
- Sources and measures DC voltage and current into your DUT
- Voltmeter accuracy: Up to 0.025% + 50 µV, up to 18 bits
- Ammeter accuracy: Up to 0.025% + 8 nA, up to 18 bits
- Arbitrary waveform generator function: Bandwidth up to 100 kHz, output power up to 500 W
- Scope function: Digitizes voltage and current at up to 200 kHz, 512 kpts, up to 18 bits
- Data logger function: Measurement interval from 20 µs to 60 s, max of 500 M readings/datalog
- 4 GB of non-volatile data storage for data log, scope traces, instrument settings

Designed for seamless integration into automated test environments, each Keysight DC power module features built-in voltage and current measurement to simplify wiring and reduce system complexity. For enhanced DUT protection, every module includes over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature safeguards, along with the ability to detect fault conditions in neighboring channels within 10 microseconds, enabling rapid system shutdown when needed.

Performance-wise, they are virtually identical. The N6705C was primarily released to fulfill strict modern RoHS environmental compliance regulations. It also offers drop-in physical/SCPI compatibility with older A/B modules. - What measurement and analysis capabilities does the N6705C provide?
The N6705C offers high-accuracy voltage and current measurements with up to 18-bit resolution, oscilloscope digitizing up to 200 kHz, arbitrary waveform generation up to 100 kHz, and data logging with measurement intervals from 20 µs to 60 seconds. These capabilities allow engineers to capture transient events, analyze power consumption, and validate device performance with a single instrument. - What software licenses are absolutely required to use the data logger and scope functions?
