Overview

The Fluke Networks OFP2-100-QI is a Wi-Fi-enabled Versiv mainframe equipped with the OptiFiber Pro Quad OTDR and an included FiberInspector video inspection probe. The Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) module attaches to the Versiv main unit, creating a rugged, handheld tester designed to locate, identify, and measure reflective and loss events in both multimode and singlemode fiber networks.

The OptiFiber Pro supports typical maximum test ranges of up to 35 km at 1300 nm for multimode fiber and 130 km at 1550 nm for singlemode fiber, providing comprehensive fault detection and fiber characterization capabilities.

The system also incorporates the FiberInspector Pro video inspection technology, allowing users to quickly inspect and certify fiber end faces in ports and patch cords. Its automated one-second PASS/FAIL certification, based on IEC 61300-3-35 standards, eliminates subjective visual assessments and enables technicians of any skill level to perform accurate, standards-compliant fiber inspections with confidence.
