CertiFiber Max Optical Loss Test Set with FI-3000 Inspection Cameras
The CFM-100S-NW/GLD is a CertiFiber Max single‑mode multi-fiber Optical Loss Test Set (OLTS) that includes two Versiv 2 mainframe units (without Wi-Fi), designed for fast, accurate Tier 1 fiber certification and also includes gold care support coverage. With CFM-100S-NW/GLD kit, you can easily measure loss, length, and polarity on pinned MPO 12 cables. An OLTS is a device used to measure the optical loss, length, and polarity of fiber links, ensuring they meet industry standards for performance. The CertiFiber Max operates on the Versiv platform, Fluke Networks’ modular testing ecosystem that streamlines setup, testing, and reporting through features like the ProjX management system and LinkWare integration, helping technicians complete fiber certification projects more efficiently and with fewer errors.
Key Facts
Maximum speed: Measure loss, length, and polarity of up to 24 fibers in one second.
Maximum efficiency: CertiFiber Max is part of the modular Versiv / LinkWare cabling certification system, used by more technicians than any other certifier.
Maximum flexibility: Field-replaceable UniPort adapters connect to existing (MPO, MMC), pinned and unpinned, and future connector/pin configurations — test 8-, 12-, 16- and 24-fiber cables, with 32-fiber cables to come.
Maximum accuracy: Standards-preferred one-jumper reference provides the least uncertainty in fiber measurements. Tracks time since reference setting and count of tests for TRCs to ensure compliance with test processes.
Maximum ROI: The Versiv / LinkWare ecosystem supports Tier I (OLTS) and Tier II (OTDR) fiber testing, inspection, and even copper certification.
Minimize uncertainty: All-in-one Versiv platform provides, 1-jumper reference setting, integrated test counter / timer, VFL, power meter, plus optional end-face inspection.

Designed for Maximum Accuracy
To minimize field errors, the CertiFiber tester features a built-in “Wizard” that guides technicians step-by-step through the essential referencing process. Incorrect reference settings can lead to losing an entire day’s work. The Wizard identifies the required accessories, tracks the user’s progress through each step, checks that measurements fall within acceptable limits, enables cleaning of end faces, and saves critical reference values for reporting. UniPort adapters are color-coded to correspond with the Wizard and Test Reference cords, which use reference-grade fiber and connectors.
Results of the reference setting (including measured power and loss of the verification cords for each fiber tested) are stored and presented with project test reports, providing proof the process was done correctly.
Efficiency and Ease of Use
In just one second, CertiFiber Max OLTS can test and save results for cables with up to 24 fibers. Versiv also streamlines tasks beyond testing time. Its ProjX management system allows the tester to be preconfigured with cable types, limits, and identifiers for the job, reducing confusion and errors. Versiv signals when the far-end tester is connected and can be set to automatically start tests, store results, and move to the next cable identifier—saving significant time on large projects.
Simple Results with Details
Limits can be configured using the integrated calculator—just select a standard, enter the number and type of connectors in the link, and CertiFiber Max OLTS calculates the allowable loss based on length. Alternatively, you can choose a specific application or set custom limits according to job requirements. In every case, the technician receives a clear PASS or FAIL result for each tested link, along with details such as worst-case loss margin, length, and polarity. Tapping the screen reveals individual fiber loss and a polarity diagram.
Counter and Timer
To ensure maximum measurement accuracy, some customers require limits on how long a specific reference setting can be used or how many tests can be performed with the same set of test reference cords. CertiFiber Max OLTS offers an optional built-in timer that tracks the time since the reference was set and allows users to set limits, providing warnings before and after those limits are exceeded. Similarly, an optional counter monitors the number of tests conducted with a particular set of TRCs, with configurable limits that alert the user when the threshold is approaching or has been surpassed.

Integrated Visual Fault Locator and Duplex Power Meter
CertiFiber Max OLTS isn’t just a fast testing tool—it also helps with troubleshooting. Its Visual Fault Locator (VFL) can light up any fiber configuration, up to 24 fibers at once, for quick fault detection. Built into the source port on both the main and remote units, the VFL can be activated by technicians at either end without disconnecting the cable, speeding up the process. Additionally, a duplex power meter port with SC and LC adapters allows measurement of power from cassettes or duplex fibers.
Integrated Inspection
Fiber optic connector contamination is a leading cause of failures, making testing time-consuming and inaccurate if connections are dirty. The CertiFiber Max OLTS solves this with double-ended inspection using two Versiv Main units and FI-3000 FiberInspector Ultra cameras (sold separately), delivering automated PASS/FAIL results for MPO, MMC, and single-fiber end faces in seconds. Inspection images and results are stored alongside loss, length, and polarity data in one report, and a range of tips and cleaning supplies for all fiber types (sold separately).
LinkWare PC Cable Test Management Software
LinkWare PC software is a Windows program that helps you organize, customize, print, and save copper and fiber cable test records from Fluke Networks devices. With LinkWare PC management software, CertiFiber Max users can easily access the ProjX management system data, generate reports, and upgrade the software in their testers.
Project managers can monitor workflow and consolidate test results.
Analyzes and transforms test results into charts.
Provides automated statistical reports.
Maximize Your ROI Using LinkWare Live
LinkWare Live is Fluke Networks’ cloud-based service that gives cabling professionals real-time project visibility and control from anywhere. It streamlines workflows by allowing test results to be uploaded directly from the jobsite, reducing reporting time, preventing lost data, and enabling instant access for troubleshooting.
